SOS - provides assistance with all aspects of the refugee claim process as well as general settlement services for refugee claimants.  This includes orientation and guidance through the many stages of the claim; form filling and interpretation; referrals; assistance to access the health system; adjustment counselling.

Inland Refugee Society (in the same location) - provides basic needs for newly arrived claimants: weekly foodbank; assistance with transportation; photos for immigration application; free clothing and ESL classes


MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) Refugee Office.

This office provides assistance for those in the post claim process: 
Assistance with the application for permanent residence for those who are accepted.
Orientation for  (Pre-removal Risk Assessment) or H&C (Humanitarian & Compassionate) application for those who are rejected.

The Drake Street office of ISS can offer basic refugee orientation to claimants who speak French or Farsi.  They also provide employment counselling.
